Our story

Our story in the City of Lakes began with my grandfather, who acquired this beautiful piece of land generations ago. It was on this very ground, steeped in family history, that I built our family home. Today, my wife Indra, our two children Diya and Raj, and I live here, directly adjoining our newly envisioned luxury boutique guesthouse.

We created this sanctuary not just as a place to stay, but as an extension of our home offering discerning travellers a warm, intimate glimpse into local life, backed by generations of deep roots in Udaipur.

When designing Chandralok Villa my goal was to create suites that offered the luxury of space, complete privacy, and elite comfort, while capitalizing on the uninterrupted views of Udaipur’s iconic shimmering lakes.
